Just started the book and already getting my brain spinning into action. ‘We are where we are’
I am reading with the lens of someone who escaped the NHS institution and I wonder how I would have viewed the book had I read it a year ago.
I am not convinced that neglect within services is more common now. It is, perhaps, recognised more but was always there, just has been moved along the carpet. E.g. Learning disability hospitals legacy of hidden harm, much not so hidden but accepted. Move to community for a better service led to ……..
